The Games
The W3llbeing Games function as a teaser of our wellyou app and to foster community. The Games will take a similar approach as our programs; they are holistic by focusing on physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
For 21 days, participants will get three challenges a day which will take a total of 30-45 min a day to accomplish:
The physical challenges are full-body workouts (max. 25–30 minutes) on uneven days and restorative, stretching sessions on even days. The full-body workouts include exercises for the legs, core, and arms. The restorative days are a combination of yoga and/or deep stretching. To provide our participants with the best experience possible and to deepen our impact by fostering relationships with like-minded people, we will collaborate with professional fitness influencers and brands in the wellbeing sector. Each day, the workout or stretching video will be provided by a different influencer, giving them a stage to be seen by a new audience and vice versa. With these collaborations, the W3llbeing Games will be introduced to more people around the world.
The mental challenges are about expressing gratitude. Science has repeatedly proven that gratitude is one of the most effective ways to increase happiness and wellbeing. The gratitude challenge takes no longer than three minutes. Participants can use a 3-minute timer that plays music to help them get into a flow while practicing this exercise.
Random acts of kindness have also been proven to be a very effective way to increase wellbeing. In fact, givers experience higher happiness levels than receivers. Through these acts, people release endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine, which are widely known as happiness hormones that increase mood and wellbeing. Some acts of kindness are also directed toward oneself, as this is also important.
