Alongside these main parts, the wellyou program includes a few other features. Users are encouraged to complete monthly challenges that serve the purpose of getting out of their comfort zones while having a lot of fun. To reiterate, all activities are scientifically proven to increase happiness. Examples include but are not limited to, visiting a new city, theaters, wellness resorts, nature parks, volunteering, etc.
Of course, a holistic wellbeing program would not be complete without healthy nutrition. Despite all the physical and mental training, we are not doing our body and mind any favors if we are not eating healthily. During the program, users are asked to follow wellyou’s nutritional guidelines in a playful way with jokers and badges. For anyone interested in diving deeper into the topic of nutrition, we provide ‘Nutrition Wednesday’ content that breaks down scientific concepts in layman’s terms, as well as an array of articles on nutrition on our blog.
One year after launch, there will be an added feature at the end of the program. Each user is asked to anonymously plant a special gift for a stranger, who also completed a wellyou program, for them to find. Simultaneously, they will get clues to find a gift in their location that a former user planted earlier. This way, people practice selfless giving, which is a very effective way of cultivating happiness, not to mention that everyone will receive an unforgettable reward in addition to the boost in wellbeing they experience from having completed the program.
