Beta Testing

Before developing the iOS app, we tested the program with five beta tests using third-party apps. Over 100 people worldwide completed either the original six-month program and/or subsequent three-month programs, for which we received very positive feedback. 

Our first paying customer was a woman living in Los Angeles, California, who had worked for startups in Silicon Valley as a Marketing Executive. She is currently the Executive VP of Marketing in one of the biggest state lotteries in the United States. After experiencing the benefits of the program herself, she saw the potential in wellyou and expressed further interest, such that she advised us in marketing during the years 2018 and 2019, before she took the new position as an EVP. 

Another user invested in our startup via a convertible loan after participating in the program several times. We also had a sports medicine professor from Louisiana who completed two programs due to their fun nature and benefits for overall wellbeing.

We developed the app following beta testing and improved our program based on user feedback. wellyou was released by Apple on the app store in March 2020. However, the ensuing Covid-19 lockdown in the same month forced us to postpone the official launch of wellyou.
